The song, Lament of the Highborne, actually dates back to the War of the Ancients a little over 10,000 years ago. It was originally a ballad for the kaldorei who had fallen during the war against the Legion, but it was adapted by the high elves following the Troll Wars and again once more after the fall of Silvermoon City [Page: Lament of the Highborne].
Time for yet another belated Christmas present upload. This time I’d like to introduce you to a very unusual lady.
Meet Tessa Serpentblade, a veteran Kaldorei warden, who has been serving her people with distinction for several centuries. Tessa’s area of expertise is infiltration and subsequent apprehension of dangerous suspects. Her service record is exemplary and she has yet to miss her mark and return from a mission empty handed.
Tessa’s combat prowess with the traditional warden weaponry is considerable, but her skill while wielding dual short blades or daggers is extraordinary. She is pragmatic and cool-headed, some could say she can be unfeeling and cynical at times, but for her, the primary responsibility is her duty. She is loyal to her cause, and rigidly follows the ‘ends justify the means’ ideology, which makes her even more dangerous.
Her paths crossed with the Brigade during the period called as the ‘Shadow war’, a mysterious conflict that was orchestrated by forces unknown, with the aim to pit the wardens against the rest of the Kaldorei society.
